Plane Explodes Into Massive Fireball On Runway

A small plane crashed and burst into flames on the runway of an airport in London on Sunday (July 13), UKNIP reports.
The incident took place at London Southend Airport at around 4:00 p.m. local time.
“I saw the huge fireball from my window,” said Dan Hill, a local who witnessed the crash. “I’m still shaking like mad. I’ve never seen anything like it."
Southend is an international travel hub located about 35 miles east of central London. Essex Police confirmed they were working with emergency services to investigate the incident, however, no information was made available publicly regarding the number of people aboard at the time or their reported condition.

Officials have warned the public to avoid the area, which is located near Rochford Hundred Golf Club and Westcliff Rugby Club, both of which have been evacuated following the crash. Southend West and Leigh member of parliament David Burton-Sampson confirmed that he was aware of the incident and was monitoring the response at London Southend Airport in a post shared on his X account Sunday.
"I am aware of an incident at Southend Airport. Please keep away and allow the emergency services to do their work. My thoughts are with everyone involved," Burton-Sampson wrote.
