Chilean Survey Finds 78% of Residents Believe in Aliens

An enlightening survey from Chile found that a staggering 78% of the country's residents believe that aliens exist. The research group Cadem conducted the poll of 700 Chileans who offered their opinions on the otherworldly topic. Beyond the sizeable percentage of participants who expressed a belief in extraterrestrials, 36% indicated that they have had a UFO sighting of their own. When the pro-ET respondents were asked about the likelihood of aliens contacting humanity by 2030, the answer was largely split down the middle with 51% saying it was likely or probable and 49% dismissing such a possibility.
