I GOT A LOVELY BOJANGLES OFFER FROM A LISTENER TODAY A kind woman is driving to Pueblo for business and she offered to bring me some Bojangles chicken. Rejoice! However, when I went to the online menu, this location seems to ONLY have chicken tenders. Y'all, I am so freaking over chicken tenders. We have 1,000 chicken tender restaurants and none of them are as good as actual CHICKEN. So I've sent an email to Bojangles for clarification but I am not renting a bus for chicken tenders. I'm so disappointed right now.

Being a city council member is not a part time job, even though it is paid as it is. I think a raise is in order but we'll see what the people of Aurora want to do. It's a touchy subject when you talk about paying politicians, but they do a crapload of work and take a crapload of crap.

CRAPPY ROADS ARE A FEATURE, NOT A BUG, OF DEMOCRAT POLICIES WOW this story really pulls the curtain on the motivation of Jared Polis and CDOT Director Shoshana Lew. It simply proves what I've been saying for years. The Democrat strategy for reducing greenhouse gas emissions is to make the roads so MISERABLE you will beg to get on a train with a bunch of homeless people smoking meth. From the story:

An effective bit of bureaucracy drove that message home. After sustained lobbying from climate and environmental justice activists, the Transportation Commission of Colorado adopted a formal rule that makes the state transportation agency, along with Colorado’s five metropolitan planning organizations, demonstrate how new projects, including highways, reduce greenhouse gas emissions. If they don’t, they could lose funding.

Within a year of the rule’s adoption in 2021, Colorado’s Department of Transportation, or CDOT, had canceled two major highway expansions, including Interstate 25, and shifted $100 million to transit projects. In 2022, a regional planning body in Denver reallocated $900 million from highway expansions to so-called multimodal projects, including faster buses and better bike lanes.

One thing this story doesn't do is talk about the horrible condition of our roads, especially outside the metro. They hate you and your car and I bet that Shoshana Lew drives her car to work every day and doesn't use public transport. We all know the Governor doesn't. Hypocrites.

PROTESTS OVER A CHRISTIAN COFFEE SHOP ARE ON BRAND For Denver Communists, who as far as I know have done nothing to help the homeless and addicted but have time to protest a man who has a ministry that has. The coffee shop The Drip Cafe, has just opened its doors so people in recovery who are ready to re enter the workforce have a place to work.
