Accidental Nicotine Ingesting Increasing

A dramatic spike is being reported in the number of young children accidentally ingesting nicotine. A new study in the journal Pediatrics says that since 2020, there's been a 736 percent increase in young kids ingesting nicotine pouches like Zyn. Doctors write that children who get a hold of pouches are two times more likely to be admitted to the hospital compared to other forms of nicotine. The chemical increases heart rate and blood pressure, and could lead to nausea, vomiting or even coma.
