Sarah Spain shared of the iHeart Women's Sports anniversary, "I have been thrilled, since day one, to be a part of the iHeart Women's Sports Network as the signature daily show, which is so important, as someone who's worked in the sports world for almost two decades. I know what it's like on the men's side, where every single day you can wake up and find a podcast, a website, a television show to give you all the news and the latest stories, and that just hasn't existed on the women's side. So we are thrilled to be a show that people can turn on every day and hear the news of the day, get great interviews, all the storytelling that they want to learn about, the leagues they already love, and the leagues that they just don't know that they love yet. We've done some really cool things like go to Spain to cover the Billie Jean King Cup, the NWSL Championship, a live show with Sue Bird and Diana Taurasi at the Final Four, and there is so much yet to come. So congrats on one year, iHeart Women's Sports Network, and years to many more years."
Ashlyn Harris shared, "Wow, one year anniversary of the Women's Sports Network with iHeartRadio. One year flew by so fast and what a joy it's been. Thank you to everyone who has been leading the way and making this possible, and bringing visibility and expertise to all of our listeners out there. And thank you all for showing up the way you always do, and we're continuing to pave the way for something different and leading life through storytelling and being able to bring that to you. Every week is so vital for us in terms of visibility and continuing to push the envelope. So thank you. I can't wait for year two, there's so much more. So thank you to everyone. Congratulations. And here's to another year of exciting times in women's sports."
