All varieties of a popular yogurt brand have been recalled in Wisconsin over a health hazard due to the potential presence of foreign material.

Danone U.S. has issued a voluntary recall for all flavors and sizes of its YoCrunch yogurt products "due to the presence of plastic pieces in the dome topper," which could present a choking hazard for consumers, according to a recall notice shared by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.

The recall was initiated July 11 after multiple consumer reports of transparent, and potentially sharp, plastic pieces found in the packaged topper, which contains mix-ins like granola, M&Ms, Oreos, cookie dough and other candies. The yogurt itself is not impacted. The products were distributed to retails stores nationwide. See the full list of recalled products and specific lot codes at the FDA's website.

"[Danone] is working swiftly with retail partners to remove the impacted product from shelves, while it works to address the issue and bring back the YoCrunch products so many people enjoy," the recall notice states.

Anyone who purchased the affected products is urged not to consume them, and questions regarding refunds can be directed to YoCrunch Consumer Care Line at 1-877-344-4866 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET.
