Man Accused Of Drinking, Driving And Shooting Gun

(Titusville, FL) -- A man is accused of firing a gun while he was driving drunk in Brevard County. Sheriff Wayne Ivey announced yesterday Nathaniel Wadleigh was arrested Tuesday in Melbourne. Deputies responded to a shots fired call at Be Back's Lounge on Aurora Road and found Wadleigh. He was taken into custody and reportedly told deputies he had a gun and fired it in the parking lot. Ivey says Wadleigh provided two breath samples that were more than twice the legal limit. Wadleigh is charged with DUI and Discharging a Firearm from a Vehicle. He's being held without bond.  

Man Arrested During Investigation Into Tren De Aragua Gang

(Orlando, FL) -- A man who may have ties to an infamous Venezuelan gang is in custody in Orange County. Diego Cardenas-Osorio was arrested yesterday while FHP was investigating Tren de Aragua gang members in Pinellas County. Troopers say Cardenas-Osorio was wanted on a warrant from Osceola County. He was found in Orlando, and when troopers tried pulling him over, he took off, crashed into a fence in Pine Castle and ran from the scene. Cardenas-Osorio was found in a shed nearby and taken into custody.  In addition to the warrant, WESH 2 reports he's now facing hit-and-run and immigration charges. 

App Warns Of Nearby ICE Agents

(Miami, FL) -- A new app could make it harder for ICE to arrest illegal immigrants in South Florida. The app called Coqui [[co-KEE]] lets users know if immigration agents are in the area. A New York man named Peter says he made the app because he was heartbroken to see a community living in absolute fear. He says the app gives people a chance to live their lives and not feel hunted. A Venezuelan man here under the TPS program tells CBS News Miami he uses the app every day, and it makes him feel safe.       

FL Man Sentenced For Smuggling Guns To Haiti

(Washington, DC)-- A Florida man has been sentenced to more than two years in federal prison for smuggling weapons to Haiti. Fifty-seven-year-old Jean Wilterne Eugene of Key West, Florida, was sentenced yesterday in U.S. District Court in Washington, DC. Investigators say Eugene smuggled multiple firearms to Haiti by concealing them in vehicles that he was shipping. He told investigators that he was aware it was illegal to ship guns out of the U.S. without authorization. He will also pay a 20-thousand-dollar fine as part of his sentence.

Bat Flip Leads to Little Leaguer's Ejection During Championship Series

(Haddonfield, NJ)-- A New Jersey family is seeking an emergency temporary restraining order to let their son play in the state championship after he was suspended for flipping his bat in a game. The bat flip came in a game his team won to qualify for the state championship. The player, 12-year-old Marco Rocco of Haddonfield Little League, celebrated his sixth inning homer in the game, which drew the penalty. 

"Fantastic Four" Set For Big Opening Weekend

(Los Angeles, CA)-- Marvel's First Family is looking to get off to a fantastic start at the box office this weekend. "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" is expected to earn between 100-and-110-million dollars at the domestic box office in its debut. Meanwhile, it's predicted to rake in an additional 90-to-100-million dollars at the international box office. That would be a bigger start than Marvel's last two films, "Captain America: Brave New World" and "Thunderbolts." "Fantastic Four" hits theaters Friday.
