Police identified the suspect accused of stabbing 11 people at a Michigan Walmart Superstore Saturday (July 26) afternoon, the New York Post reports.

Bradford James Gille, 42, of Afton, was charged with one count of terrorism and 11 counts of assault with intent to murder in relation to the incident, authorities confirmed. The incident took place at around 4:43 p.m. when Gille entered the store and began stabbing the victims with a folding knife.

A photo of the weapon allegedly used during the incident was shared by police during a press briefing on Sunday (July 27). Grand Traverse County Sheriff Michael Shea told reporters that authorities were "very confident" that Gille was the attacker.

The victims were reported to range in ages 29 to 85, which included six over the age of 60, and all are expected to survive the attack. Gille was last listed as living in Cheboygan, which is located about 80 miles northeast of Traverse City and has been arrested multiple times for criminal mischief and drug related offenses, having previously served 49 days in a Florida jail for vandalism in 2014.

Gille, who has identified as a born-again Christian since 1997, has self-published two books available on Amazon.
