Accountability & Redemption

July 28, 2025

When is the last time you seriously thought accountability would come to those in government? Been a while, hasn’t it?

Is it possible that day is here? Thanks to the election of Donald Trump, it just may be.

We’ve talked a long time about the concept of holding officials accountable, but it takes officials who are willing to do just that with other officials. And NOT for political reasons, but because right is right and the law applies equally to all of us. We’ll keep an eye out to see just how close we get.

We begin our day with a school board chair from Alachua County who exposed her hatred after Hulk Hogan’s death. She fears accountability. She is seeking redemption, or maybe, thinks she doesn’t need it.

We have a couple of stories out of my native land that could have impact for the country.

In our final hour, Tax Collector Lisa Cullen and Property Appraiser Dana Blickley join us to look at taxes and the Brevard County budget. What’s ahead for us and how do the governor’s plans impact us?

Welcome to our Monday.
