Emmanuel Clase suspended during MLB's Gambling investigation

The Guardians have been notified by Major League Baseball that, as part of their sports betting investigation, Emmanuel Clase has been placed on non-disciplinary paid leave in accordance with an agreement with the Players Association. The Guardians stated in a release that they were informed no additional players or club personnel are expected to be affected. This follows the suspension of Luis Ortiz earlier this month.
