Mack Maine Reveals His Son Zeke Has Passed Away

Mack Maine and his family are devastated after his son passed away.

The Young Money artist took to Instagram to pay tribute to his son, Isaiah a.k.a Zeke. Mack confirmed Zeke transitioned on July 16 after he suffered from a seizure at his home in California. He was only 20. He said he's "still in shock and still processing the fact that he’s gone." He shared a carousel full of photos from his archive of meaningful memories with his son, from his middle school graduation to his first year at Louisiana State University.

"Zeke I thank you for granting me with one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received, Fatherhood!" he wrote.

"The experience and bond with you and I brought me purpose," he continued. "YOU were my biggest inspiration and motivation..YOU were the reason I got out of the bed when everyone else snoozed.. Your smile brightened my dark days as you were my SONshine ☀️ Your soul was made of innocence and your heart was pure. Since July 16th your village has been crushed and we’re hurting."

Mack announced his son's death on his birthday because it's also the same day he lost his father. The artist-music executive lost his dad two years ago, but he said it feels like 2,000 years. Despite losing his pops, Mack said the pain of losing his son is one he's never felt before.

"To Zeke I love you and I know I’ll see you again… To my Pops I miss you big dawg and I know you met Zeke on the other side with open arms," he added. "I vow to continue to make yall proud I just ask yall continue to walk with me and pick me up when I fall… I need the strength…. Until we meet again… LOVE 🕊️🕊️"
