Cash Cobain is opening up about working with Justin Bieber on the singer's latest album.
In an interview Rolling Stone published on Tuesday, July 29, the New York native revealed how he and the Biebs locked in after the glorified singer showed some love to Cobain's "Trippin On A Yacht" on his Instagram page.
“Everybody would just send me that s**t, so I just followed bro and I wrote, ‘Now we got to work. We got to get something in,’” Cobain told the magazine. “He was like, ‘All right, bet. Definitely got to do it, I f**k with your s**t.’”

Cobain and Bieber exchanged numbers and remained in contact until they eventually connected in the studio. The pop star reached out to the Slizzy God while he was in New York, and he instantly pulled up on him. Cobain said there were several musicians and other people in the room with them. He was also in awe after he got to see the singer in action.
“That n***a’s a movie,” Cobain said. “He was just doing ideas. I never got to really see him really locked in, like, on some *Justin Bieber* s**t. I’m pretty sure that s**t will be fire, though.”
“It was really on music and stuff like that, I’d be sending him beats and s**t,” Cobain continued. “Like, he’s swaggy. He’s been on the swag s**t for a little minute. But we was talking regular s**t, too. We cool. He’d check on me like, ‘I’m just checking on you.’”
Bieber's SWAG album comes with 21 songs. Cobain and Eddie Benjamin appear on the title track, while other notable acts like Sexyy Red, Gunna, Dijon, and comedian Druski (who pops up in a couple of skits) also contribute to the project. The "Fisherrr" rapper's appearance on the album isn't the only surprise he's got in store for 2025. Cash Cobain has dropped off other tracks like "Sick n Tired" and "Feeeeeeeeel." Both songs are expected to appear on his forthcoming album Party With Slizzy. The follow-up to his Play Cash Cobain LP is set to arrive later this year.
