Kristin Davis was so mortified by a scene she filmed during season two of Sex and The City that the moment has stayed with her for the last 26 years.
The actress, who played Charlotte York in the beloved series that ran from 1998 to 2004, portrayed a bridesmaid at Miranda's decorator's wedding and had a fling with the best man, who (initially) seemed like her type on paper.
They engaged in a brief romantic encounter while helping set up the wedding suite, and Charlotte met his parents. Their "relationship" seemed to be taking off quickly, and before Charlotte knew it, she found herself on the dance floor with his father.
And just when everything seemed too good to be true, the best man's father grabbed her butt and snapped her back into reality.
She confronted the best man about his father's actions, and he immediately defended his father. Davis shared her negative review of the scene during the latest episode of her SATC rewatch podcast, "Are You A Charlotte?". She remains opposed to the scene to this day, and claims it shone a bright spotlight on her "real mad face."
Behind the scenes, the director instructed the older gentleman to "grab her a** harder," further humiliating Davis.
"I'm mad that I had to do it. I'm mad that this man had to grab my butt. It's, like, mortifying, you know?"
