Watch: Carrie Underwood Reveals First Look At Sunday Night Football Open

Carrie Underwood shared the first look at her new Sunday Night Football opening on Thursday evening (July 31).

Underwood is returning to perform the Sunday Night Football opening for her 13th consecutive season — which also marks Sunday Night Football’s 20th season — in 2025. She performed the new version at Resorts World Theatre in Las Vegas, Nevada, the home of her REFLECTION residency from December 2021 to April 2025. Creative director Tripp Dixon said he and his team “wanted to set the tone for the night by reimagining the anthem sound in a way that plays to Carrie’s powerhouse vocals, while visually creating a seamless blend of stylized shots and behind-the-scenes moments evoking the national roadshow that is Sunday Night Football, week after week in the fall,” in a press release issued to announce Underwood’s return.

“We had a blast shooting the new opening at The Resorts World Theatre again,” the country star said in a statement in the press release. “As always, Tripp and the creative team continue to raise the bar, bringing the high energy and stunning visuals that the Sunday Night Football audience has come to expect year after year. I can’t wait for the world to see it!”

Underwood reportedly makes $1 million every week, totaling &18 million spanning the 18-week season. Underwood’s newest Sunday Night Football performance will make its full debut on September 7. Watch the sneak peek from Underwood and NBC Sunday Night Football here:
