Camper's Karaoke of Nickelback Songs Mistaken for Distress Signal

LMAO. What happens alone in the woods, doesn't always stay there. A rescue team was called on an unusual mission when someone called 911 in British Columbia's Boulder Fields area because they heard someone making "repeated cries" for help. That's when the Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR) team split into two groups to search the forests and local roads, but the person in "distress" was soon discovered to be a solo camper singing Nickelback songs loudly enough to be mistaken for a distress call.
As described by COSAR's search manager, Duane Tresnich, "He wasn't in trouble, unless you count his singing."
The rescue team noted that their services are always free, and the money saved could be better spent on singing lessons for the enthusiastic camper. The identity of the "karaoke camper" and the specific songs he was performing were not disclosed.
