A popular energy drink sold around the country has been affected by a new recall in a handful of states, including Wisconsin, over a concerning health and safety risk.

High Noon has recalled two production lots of its High Noon Beach Variety packs due to a labeling error that could lead to "unintentional alcohol ingestion," according to a recall notice shared by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. Some of the cans in the 12-pack product were filled inadvertently filled with High Noon vodka hard seltzer but are instead mislabeled as Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink in the sparkling blue razz flavor.

The recall includes the following lot codes for the High Noon Beach Variety packs: L CCC 17JL25 14:00 to L CCC 17JL25 23:59 and L CCC 18JL25 00:00 to L CCC 18JL25 03:00. The affected product was shipped to distributors in Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin, which then shipped the products to retailers in those states between July 21 and July 23.

While the recall is exclusive to the listed 12-pack High Noon Beach Variety packs, customers are still urged to check that any Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink - Sparkling Blue Razz Edition cans with a silver lid they may have purchased do not include the lot codes L CCB 02JL25 2:55 or L CCB 02JL25 3:11 and to dispose of any that do match the codes.

As of July 29, there have been no reports of illnesses or adverse events in connection to the recall. Customers who purchased the affected products can contact High Noon consumer relations at consumerrelations@highnoonvodka.com for more information about refunds.
