Luke Combs relived the moment he shared the stage with Alex Warren to duet the California-born artist’s viral song at Lollapalooza in Chicago, Illinois.

Combs shared the video of that performance from his history-making Lollapalooza set on his social media accounts on Sunday (August 3). The two singer-songwriters delivered a rendition of Warren’s No. 1 hit, “Ordinary,” which commenters hailed “the duo we didn’t know we needed but now can’t live without.” Others said they had “goosebumps,” rewatched the performance multiple times, hoped Combs and Warren would release the duet version, and more.

Combs became the first country artists to headline the iconic, genre-spanning music festival. He said in a “life update” earlier this year that although he’s not on a headlining tour, he was looking forward to “some awesome festivals coming up,” and hinting a the next chapter in his career. Combs confirmed at that time that he’ll tour again in 2026, and is “actively working on new music.” Since then, he released “Back in the Saddle,” — the first single of “so much more music coming up” — and featured NASCAR legends Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Richard Petty in the music video.
