The man suspected of the targeted killings of four people in Tennessee, was captured after a multi-day manhunt. The Jackson Police Department announced on Tuesday morning (August 5) that U.S. Marshals had apprehended Austin Robert Drummond in Jackson, Tennessee. The manhunt intensified after Drummond was spotted in the area on Sunday (August 3).

The search led to a "shelter in place" order for residents along Bridlepath Drive and Saddlebrook Drive, as Drummond was sighted again on Tuesday morning. Residents were asked to check their security cameras, resulting in several sightings of Drummond near homes, where he was seen knocking on doors with a firearm.

Drummond is accused of the murders of James Wilson, Adrianna Williams, Cortney Rose, and Braydon Williams in Tiptonville, Tennessee, on July 29. The victims were found on Carrington Road, about 40 miles from where a seven-month-old girl, the child of two victims, was abandoned in Dyer County.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has charged three others in connection with the case. Dearrah Sanders, 23, was charged with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder. Tanaka Brown and Giovonti Thomas, both 29, face the same charge, with Brown also charged with tampering with evidence. The investigation revealed that Brown and Thomas assisted Drummond, though details of their involvement have not been disclosed.
