Sean "Diddy" Combs doesn't want to waste any time in making a comeback when he gets out of jail.

Combs' attorney, Marc Agnifilo, sat down with CBS Mornings' Jericka Duncan for his first interview since his client was convicted on two counts of violating the Mann Act. During their conversation, Duncan asked Agnifilo if there was anything Combs wants his fans to know. Agnifilo said the mogul is reflecting on his "imperfections" and "the blessings that he's been given." He also said his client is focused on reuniting with his family and plotting his return to the stage in his hometown.

"He said to me he's going to be back at Madison Square Garden," Agnifilo said.

Combs is currently in jail awaiting his sentencing hearing in October. Judge Arun Subramanian denied his requests for bail despite his attorney's arguments that no man convicted of Mann Act violations has been behind bars for this long. Combs has sat in jail since he was arrested last September. While the judge acknowledged their arguments about precedent, Judge Subramanian cited the multiple instances of violence in Combs' case, which were discussed at length by witnesses during the mogul's seven-week trial.

There have been discussions about seeking a pardon from President Donald Trump. After Trump himself discussed the possibility of a pardon, Agnifilo said he has "nothing to do with" the campaign to get Combs pardoned. He recalled telling Combs about Trump's statements to the press about the situation, but his team hasn't personally spoke with the POTUS.

"I have had conversations with nobody," Agnifilo explained. "I have not spoken to the president. I have not spoken to anybody who speaks to the president about Sean Combs. I have not."

"He says, 'Go tell him (Mr. Trump) that I need a pardon,'" Agnofilo added. "'Go tell him I deserve a pardon.' That's what he said."

Combs' sentencing hearing is scheduled for October 3.
