Man Damages Police Station While Saying He Wants to Go to Jail

Never have I ever WANTED to go to jail. John Work can't say the same thing. Cops in Colorado Springs arrested him on Saturday afternoon when he entered the police station yelling profanities, threatening police, and telling them he wanted to go to jail. Police waited for citizens to leave the lobby before making contact with John and once it was clear, they locked the doors, and tried to deescalate the situation by speaking to him from behind the front lobby window.

That's when John picked up a chair and threw it at a window and was arrested and booked into jail with minimal property damage. He was charged with obstructing government operations and menacing.
