Hunter dazzles in return, Reds slam Phillies

Hunter Greene dazzled in his first MLB start in 70 days, firing six shutout innings. 

The Reds broke open a 1-0 game with three runs in the 6th, highlighted by Noelvi Marte driving in a run, and circling the bases to score on two throwing errors. 

Miguel Andujar doubled the 4-0 lead with a 2-out 7th inning grand slam. Elly De La Cruz had busted tail to beat out an infield hit to keep the inning alive. 

They beat a left-handed starter with a sub 3.00 ERA in back-to-back games.

Reds pitching allowed one run over the final two games of the series, and five total.  

The Reds (64-58) take a series from a 1st place team. 

Greene: 6 IN, 3 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 6 K, 85 pitches. 1st ML start since June 3. 
Ended 6th w/ K of Harper w/ tying run on 3rd. 16 whiffs on 44 swings, 9 whiffs on 18 hacks at his slider.
