The Late Edition- The Weekend, A Colonoscopy and More!

Once again- better late than never, right?

But hey - I got an excuse- I was on the toilet for a day and a half! Sorry- don't mean to be gross, but if you've ever had a colonoscopy, then you get it. And if you are 45 or over and you haven't had a colonoscopy- YOU SHOULD GET ONE! (Here endeth the soapbox).

The weekend started right though-

I watched one of my favorite shows- HIstory Channel's "Alone". Sadly- this season has not been very good. 10 survival "experts" placed in a remote location in Africa. Last one standing wins a half a milly. The problem this year is that contestants are dropping like flies! In less than 2 weeks, half the contestants have tapped out. In most seasons they last any from 50 - 80 days. Friggin crazy! Now- I can't criticize these folks because it takes giant balls to even attempt this- but based on previous shows - it seems extremely tame (ie: boring). Regardless- Friday is my day to watch it.

Saturday morning, I was out with the camera and I hit Prescott Park and the Portsmouth area. The hazy smoke filled skies don't make for good sunrise pics, so I turned the camera to other things. Here's a few from Saturday morning -

After that it was off to Smuttynose Brewing Co for their Rockin Ribfest - met some listeners there ! Like Mike and Catt from Wakefield!

And thankfully- I am proud to say that I've got the CLEANEST colon in 5 counties!

Ok- maybe not, but the results were great and that's all I care about!

That was my weekend kids- hope you're was a good one that didn't involve being on the john for about a day and a half! haha
