XCEL SUES ELBERT COUNTY I was waiting for this. After Elbert (and El Paso) County said no to Xcel's plan to build a massive powerline corridor through the county to deliver energy to Denver I knew Xcel would sue. On what grounds? That Elbert didn't consider the needs of the REST OF THE STATE when they made the denial. What Xcel should have done is ask Elbert what they could do to sweeten the deal so Elbert County residents got ANYTHING positive out of the deal but instead they ran to the court. Of course they did.

ANOTHER DUBIOUS STAT TO BLAME ON DEMOCRAT "LEADERSHIP" This is fun. Colorado, which I just moved to in 2013 when the streets were actually clean and the people friendly and lovely, is now in 47th place for safety. Three away from 50. That's the lowest. We're three away from the lowest, meaning we're three away from the highest crime rate IN THE COUNTRY. This one is 100% SQUARELY on the decision making by the Democrat party, who love to walk with protesters who want to defund police and pass "criminal justice reform" that only benefits the criminals. You reap what you sow.

SOCIALISM FAILS AGAIN! Just like wherever it's tried, but this time is just in time to make potential New York Mayor Mamdani look like the idiot he is for saying he wants city run grocery stores that don't have a profit motive. Enter Kansas City, where they JUST TRIED THIS VERY THING! What happened? It just went out of business after the city spent $18 MILLION trying to keep it open. Even the Denver Post saw it coming LAST YEAR. Colorado GOP Chair Brita Horn went to one of those meetings and she joins me at 12:30 today. If you can go to one of these meetings, please get a ticket. THIS SHOULD NOT TAKE TWO AND HALF YEARS Kelloggs is the latest food maker to announce they will be removing " toxic dyes" (their words, not mine) from their cereals by 2027. So until then, feel free to ingest all the "toxic dyes" you can! There is ZERO reason this should take two and half years.

OUR SANCTUARY STATUS COULD LEAD TO THE LOSS OF FEDERAL FUNDS And as this is EXACTLY what Jared Polis is doing to counties and municipalities who won't follow his new zoning rules I'm sure he will immediately do the right thing and urge our legislature to undo the laws that make us a sanctuary state in the eyes of the Feds. Oh, he will say we're NOT a Sanctuary state but we all know we are. And frankly it doesn't matter what he thinks, the only thing that matters is that the Trump administration thinks we are.
