Our beloved Tim Conway Jr. and Mo' Kelly Show technical director, Stefan "The Foosh" Cabezas, continues his recovery from a horrific serious accident last week on the 105 freeway.

On August 7, Foosh, 37, didn't show up to work and didn't call or send a message, something completely unlike him, leaving the entire crew worried about him. They started working to track him down.

Unbeknownst to his co-workers, Foosh was on his way to work when he was cut off on the 105, his vehicle hit the center median and flipped over several times and caught on fire.

Several people traveling on the freeway witnessed the accident. Kenyati Hubbard and Jonathan Garay stopped and jumped in harm's way to help. They managed to pull Cabezas from the flames and tied a tourniquet around his injured arm, something emergency responders said likely saved his life.

Last night on Conway's show, Foosh's parents met these amazing men in person and with Foosh on the phone from his hospital room, they all expressed their gratitude to these heroes.

Foosh suffered severe injuries, particularly to his left arm, which was pinned beneath the car. Since the accident, he has undergone three surgeries at UCLA Harbor Medical Center and is about to undergo a forth to repair the damage . Foosh has a long recovery ahead of him but he is strong and has a positive attitude. Tim Conway Jr., expressed his relief and gratitude on air, thanking the rescuers for their bravery.

To honor the heroes, KFI hosted a "Hero Hot Dog Day" at the station, (since it is Foosh's favorite food) giving the entire KFI family an opportunity to thank these amazing men for saving Foosh's life.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help Foosh with medical expenses not covered by insurance, and to help him get a new car once he's recovered. Foosh also works as an Uber driver to make extra money.
