Lady A's Hillary Scott To Share Details About Baby No. 4's Arrival 'Soon'

Hillary Scott shared precious family photos with newborn Baby No. 4, and said she’ll share more details about her daughter’s name and birth story “soon.”

The Lady A star said she and her husband, drummer Chris Tyrell, were “over the moon” when they welcomed daughter Selah Jean last month. Scott posted photos by photographer Erin Thacker Goad on Instagram on Tuesday (August 19), capturing sweet moments that she, her husband and her three older daughters — Eisele Kaye, 12, and twins Betsy and Emory, 7 — are sharing in their first few weeks with Selah Jean.

“There’s so much that I want to share about Selah’s arrival. The way God prepared all of us for her. Details about her name, and her birth story. I will share that someday soon,” Scott wrote in her caption. She nodded to Thacker Goad for capturing so much “sweetness” in the photos, and tagged Christian pop artist Forrest Frank, whose song “Selah” is “getting played quite a bit in our house.”

A representative Scott confirmed to PEOPLE that Selah Jean arrived on Friday, July 25. Scott and Tyrell said in a statement to the publication at that time that they were “over the moon,” and their newborn daughter “has filled our hearts with joy and her sisters are already the BEST helpers. Her name means 'pause and reflect' and 'god is gracious,' and in the few short days she's been here with us, we can already see that she embodies both of those phrases. She truly feels like the most priceless gift — like Christmas in July!"

Scott is one of several country artists to welcome a baby into the family in 2025. She beamed when Lady A bandmate Charles Kelley and his wife, Cassie Kelley, announced they’re expecting Baby No. 2. She said this “makes 9 [Lady A] kiddos! ❤️” Kelley’s Baby No. 2 joins Ward, 9, and Lady A’s Dave Haywood and his wife are parents to Cash Van, 10, Lillie Renee, 7, and Joseph Michael, 1.
