Lil Nas X Reportedly Hospitalized After Possible Drug Overdose

Lil Nas X was hospitalized due to a potential drug overdose after he was spotted nearly nude while walking in the middle of the street last night.

According to a report TMZ published on Thursday, August 21, the "Old Town Road" artist was caught on video walking in the streets of Ventura, Calif., at 4 a.m. while wearing nothing but white underwear and cowboy boots. In the clip, you can see Lil Nas singing to himself while strutting in the road. He told the person recording the video, "Don't be late to the party" before he tried to get him to put his phone away.

Law enforcement in the Studio City area said they encountered Lil Nas X after they received reports of a nude man walking in the street. After the artist allegedly charged at them, police apprehended him and placed him in handcuffs. The officers told paramedics that he could've been suffering from a possible drug overdose. He was promptly taken to the hospital, which is where he remains as of this report.

Lil Nas X may face charges for the incident. The 26-year-old artist had been fairly quiet since he dropped his Days Before Dreamboy EP back in March. However, he recently reemerged on social media this week with some peculiar posts from inside his apartment.

So far, neither Lil Nas X nor his team has commented on the situation.
