'Very Happy' Jennifer Lopez Has 'Come A Long Way' Since Ben Affleck Divorce

Jennifer Lopez is feeling "grateful" for where she's at in her life, one year after splitting from ex-husband Ben Affleck.

A source recently told People that the "On the Floor" singer has "been having the time of her life this summer," from premiering new film projects to hitting the road for her Up All Night Tour.

"She loved connecting with fans all over the world," the insider said. "The tour was amazing. It's been a great focus for her. She's been doing what she really enjoys."

Lopez is also getting ready to promote her upcoming movie musical Kiss of the Spider Woman, out October 10, which the source pointed out was filmed during a "difficult" phase of her life amid relationship struggles with the Argo director. Fortunately, one year later, Lopez is in a much better place.

"This is the movie she filmed last year in New York when she and Ben were going through a difficult time," they said. "She's come a long way since. She's very happy and just grateful for her life."

Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, 2024, on the two-year anniversary of her and Affleck's Georgia wedding. The former couple first tied the knot a month earlier in a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas. They finalized their divorce in January.
