Social media is buzzing after the Love Island USA Season 7 reunion, during which stars Olandria Carthen and Chelley Bissanthe confronted fellow castmate Huda Mustafa for refusing to denounce bullying allegations and online hate that seemingly stemmed from her fan base.

On Monday (August 25), the highly anticipated reunion episode aired, with hosts Ariana Madix and Andy Cohen questioning the season 7 islanders on everything from their time in the villa to their current relationship statuses and lingering tensions among the cast.

Olandria and Chelley directly confronted Huda over the bullying accusations she made after the show aired. During the reunion, Olandria opened up about the online racism that was directed toward her and Chelley as a result of Huda's post-show statements. The "Bama Barbie" revealed that she asked Huda, who gained the largest following from the show, to denounce the hate on her social media shortly after the finale, which she declined to do.

“I wish you would’ve prioritized that moment to address the racism and the bullying towards me and Chelley since that was spewed out the most,” Olandria said as she teared up. “Your face was not plastered on f***ing George Floyd’s body. Mine was, and I told you that. It was that bad. That s*** hurts. I’m glad you’ve grown from it now, but that s*** hurts. We were close, and you didn’t f***ng speak up for me.”

Chelley echoed Olandria's sentiment, saying she wouldn't be continuing a friendship with Huda after she refused to speak out against the wave of online hate.

The reunion also featured unreleased footage from controversial moments of the show, including the heart rate challenge and the eliminations of fellow islanders, including Hannah Fields and Jeremiah Brown. During Monday's episode, couples Olandria and Nicolas Vansteenberghe, Chelley and Ace Greene, and Taylor Williams and Clarke Carraway all confirmed they were still dating.

Season 7 winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales also said they were still together as of the taping on August 12, but fans have since speculated that the pair has broken up after they unfollowed each other on Instagram. Similar breakup rumors have swirled around Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia, who appeared to unfollow each other post-reunion.

Huda was also asked to address her controversial behavior in her relationships with Jeremiah and Chris Seeley, with whom she made it to the finale, during the show.
