LeAnn Rimes Has 'Been Keeping A Secret' — Why 'Christmas Is Starting Early'

LeAnn Rimes has “been keeping a secret,” the Grammy-winning artist said on Tuesday (September 2).
Rimes announced in a clip shared on Instagram and TikTok that she’s releasing her Greatest Hits Christmas album in November. The 16-track collection will feature Rimes’ renditions of Christmas classics and two new songs (including a duet “with one of my favorite humans ever”).
“Hello, beautiful people. I have been keeping a secret, and today I can finally share it with you,” Rimes said. “I have a Greatest Hits Christmas album coming out in November. And if you know me, you know the holidays mean so much to me, and so does this record. It is a double album filled with some of my favorite songs from all my past holiday records and movie soundtracks, along with two brand new songs, one of which is a duet with one of my favorite humans ever, Luke Evans. …Christmas is starting early! I love it. I hope you love this album as much as I do.”

Rimes is also counting down to her “Greatest Hits Christmas Tour,” which she announced last month. the powerhouse vocalist said her set list “spans decades of holiday music.” Some of the music is a nostalgic throwback to Rimes’ childhood, and other recent, heartfelt ballads were written when Rimes “started asking myself what the season feels like now as a woman, wife, stepmom and someone who’s lived a lot more life.”
Rimes’ Greatest Hits Christmas album is due to arrive on November 7.
