Trump To Deliver Mystery ‘Announcement’ As Health Rumors Swirl

President Donald Trump is set to make a mystery announcement amid intense scrutiny surrounding his health.

The announcement, set for 2 p.m. on Tuesday (September 2), comes as health rumors intensified over Labor Day weekend, during which Trump was spotted looking weary while leaving the White House for his golf club in Sterling, Virginia. One social media user said the president looked "sickly" in a photo from his golfing trip that went viral on X.

The White House's daily schedule fueled more online speculation.

“THE PRESIDENT makes an announcement,” an alert for Tuesday afternoon reads.

Trump hasn't made any media appearances since a Cabinet meeting on August 26, where a large bruise was visible on his right hand. Other recent photos of Trump show swelling around his ankles, which Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt attributed to “Chronic Venous Insufficiency,” a “benign and common condition." Leavitt said the bruising was due to “frequent handshaking and aspirin use.”

In a series of tweets, journalist Laura Rozen highlighted Trump's recent absence from the spotlight, noting that he had no public events scheduled over Labor Weekend and had limited visibility in the few photos that emerged from his golfing trip.

Rumors continued to swirl after MAGA radio host John Fredericks posted a photo with Trump following golfing on Sunday (August 31). Social media users accused the photo of being AI-generated or staged at Mar-a-Lago. Fredericks pushed back, saying, “The Trump deniers are basically saying this is a fake photo and they ran it through AI. We took [the photo] at President Trump’s direction, not ours.”

“I talked to him on Sunday. He looked and felt fabulous... he had just played 18 holes of golf—he did that for three straight days," he added.

As hashtags like #TRUMPISDEAD and #TRUMPDIED trended on social media, the president broke his silence on Truth Social, saying, “NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE.”

According to Politico, Trump's announcement will not address his health or retirement, but will reportedly surround defense policy. The White House hasn't confirmed any details about the mystery announcement.
