Young Thug had a lot to say about Gunna while he was locked up last year.

In an alleged leaked recording of a phone call he made while in jail last year, the "Money On Money" rapper reamed Wunna for entering an Alford plea to be released from custody during the YSL RICO investigation in 2022. During the call, Thugger accused Gunna of taking the deal so that he could be with a woman.

“I wish he never get p*ssy no more, he will never get another dollar in the world, you don’t deserve nothing," Thug said. "N***a did that s**t to get out for a h*e.”

The recording is one of several phone calls Young Thug made while he sat in jail during the YSL RICO trial in Atlanta. It's part of a trove of calls that have been shared throughout social media over the holiday weekend. Thug's comments on some of the calls have driven a lot of discussion among critics and fans, especially his claim about competing with Gunna's 2023 album, a Gift & a Curse.

"I'm trying to drop an album the same day Gunna drop bruh," Thug told 21 Savage at the time. "I'mma drop my album the same day he drop. It's a called Business Is Business. Then I'm going to drop an album the very next week after that. It's going to be a singing album, and it's called Love You Later."

In another call, Thug spoke to 21 Savage and blamed Gunna for making the State's case against YSL stronger by telling a judge that the record label acted as a gang and that he knew people who committed crimes on behalf of the collective. On that same call, Thug and 21 also discussed the disrespectful lyrics Lil Baby and Lil Durk made about Gunna. The leaked jail calls arrived shortly after audio from a past interrogation between Thug and detectives from Atlanta dropped online, which caused people to accuse the YSL co-founder of snitching.
