Cops Show Off Their New Grappler That Stops Car Thieves

If you've ever had your car stolen you know what a horrible feeling it is, but what the Michigan State police just showed off in a new video has a lot of people wondering if it is worth it to get your car back! In 2024, there were 850,708 motor vehicle thefts in the U.S., a significant 17% decrease from the previous year, but that is still a TON of stolen cars. This grappler device attaches to the stolen car and prevents the thief from getting away. What you'll also know is that it apparently RIPS THE REAR axle from your car. Good news is your stolen car is returned to you. The bad news is that it is totaled. At least this stops high speed chases! Check out the video:
