Young Thug has responded after a series of phone calls from his time in jail leaked online and caused mayhem among his fans.

On Wednesday, September 3, the Atlanta native hopped on X and shared his thoughts on all the backlash he received over the past few days. It's the first time he has referred to the drama that unfolded after his private discussions with his close friends like 21 Savage and others were exposed online.

"Bashing me only goin f**k that rap community up more, I’m the blue to this fake ass game," Thug said.

Young Thug has been under fire since last week after someone leaked a nearly two-hour audio of his interrogation with Atlanta detectives. During the chat, the Atlanta native seemingly referred to Peewee Roscoe while the cops asked about the infamous 2015 shooting involving Lil Wayne's tour bus. In response, Young Thug went on the offensive by addressing the rumors directly. He also reposted Thugger Daily (the fan account that consistently provided updates during his YSL RICO trial), who noted that the district attorney working the case kept objecting to using video from the interrogation in court. In addition, he provided documentation from a motion his attorney made after a detective allegedly lied about him making a statement while in the back of a police car.

"They didn’t play my interrogation video in court cause I helped my brada #Ratwhere?" Thug wrote in an X post.

After that conversation was leaked, Thug's other phone calls from jail were exposed online. In one call, Thug called out Gunna for allegedly snitching when he entered an Alford plea to get out of jail in 2022. He also claimed that he bought $50,000 worth of fake streams for Gunna's DS4EVER and admitted that he tried to release his Business Is Business album on the same day as Gunna's a Gift & a Curse.

Another call that caused an uproar was his discussion with 21 Savage. In it, he dissed Kendrick Lamar after the Compton native allegedly curved his request for a feature. Later on, he praised Drake for giving him two features for his album.

"You supposed to be a n***a who bless a n***as," Thug said. "That's why them n***as will never be bigger than Drake, ever in life. They'll never be bigger than Buddy. Buddy gonna do it right. Buddy f**k with everybody. You know many n***a lives Drake changed? How many n***as can take care of their families because of Buddy? Kendrick, goddamn, put a n***a on. You're a superstar. You done ran up a few hundred M's, but you ain't put nobody on though. You ain't even put Keem on."

Young Thug may have commented on the latest round of leaked calls, but it's still not clear who actually obtained and shared the recordings.
