Druski Accused Of Wearing 'Whiteface' In Viral Skit

Comedian Druski has sparked intense debate after sharing a viral skit where he portrayed a stereotypical white American man.

Druski's latest skit, "The Guy Who is Just Proud to Be American," showed the comedian in white makeup, a blonde beard, an American flag tatoo, cowboy hat, and denim overalls mocking deep-South patriotism. While attending a NASCAR event, Druski drank beer, sang Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the U.S.A.,” and posed with a faux family.

Another scene in the skit shows Druski spitting in front of a Black man. He later confronted another Black man entering the event, asking if he’s “lost."

Some viewers praised Druski's makeup transformation, while others criticized the skit as racially insenstive and accused him of performing "whiteface." After his skit went viral, Druski posted a follow-up video walking through a studio in a suit while smoking a cigarette, set to James Brown’s “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World.”
