At the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, music legends came together to honor the late Ozzy Osbourne with a powerful tribute. Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, alongside YUNGBLUD and Extreme's Nuno Bettencourt, performed a medley of Osbourne's iconic songs, including "Crazy Train," Black Sabbath's "Changes," and "Mama, I'm Coming Home."

The tribute began with a heartfelt video message from Osbourne's son, Jack, and his grandchildren. Jack expressed, "I know for sure it would make him incredibly happy to see these great musicians carry on his legacy." The family then echoed one of Osbourne's famous phrases, "Let's go crazy!"

On stage, YUNGBLUD kicked off the performance with the iconic "All aboard" intro to "Crazy Train," while Bettencourt skillfully handled the guitar solo. Adam Wakeman, Osbourne's longtime keyboardist, led the tribute, transitioning into "Changes," where YUNGBLUD delivered a passionate rendition. The tribute concluded with Bettencourt's acoustic guitar intro to "Mama," as Tyler and Perry joined in for a stirring finale with YUNGBLUD on vocals.

This tribute also marked a rare reunion for Tyler and Perry, as Aerosmith has not officially performed together since canceling their farewell tour in 2023 due to Tyler's vocal issues. The band did reunite for a California wildfire benefit show earlier this year, but no plans for a makeup farewell tour have been announced.
