2 Chainz Announces His First Memoir ‘The Voice In Your Head Is God’

2 Chainz is getting ready to release his first-ever book inspired by his life and faith.
On Thursday, September 4, the seasoned rapper and entrepreneur announced his forthcoming spiritual memoir, The Voice In Your Head Is God. According to a press release, 2 Chainz, born Tauheed Epps, plans to detail the "spiritual journey behind his success, offering a raw, reflective, and deeply motivational meditation on the inner voice that’s guided him his whole life: God." Epps will tell the story of how his faith inspired him to ditch the trap and shift his talents to his music career.
“I feel this is my best close and most personal work,” 2 Chainz said in a statement. “I want to share the spiritual journey behind my success in a raw, uncut, and motivational way.”
The revered Atlanta native also said the overall goal of his book is “to help anyone with a dream and a vision [who] struggles, or doubts their intuition." He emphasized that he "wouldn’t be here now without that voice.” Black Privilege Publishing, an imprint of Atria Books founded by The Breakfast Club's Charlamagne Tha God, will publish 2 Chainz's first book in Spring 2026.
“2 Chainz’s story is a story of perseverance,” Charlamagne said. “A story of reinvention. This book will remind you that when GOD tells you to do something, it must be done, even if you have to reinvent yourself a few times to do it.”
2 Chainz's book announcement was made a couple of weeks after he dropped the official soundtrack for the short film, Red Clay. The project features new music from Tity Boi, plus fresh collaborations with Lil Yachty, NE-YO, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Vory, and Ron Isley.
Look out for 2 Chainz's first memoir coming March 3, 2026.
