JoJo Siwa Reveals How Chris Hughes Romance Shifted Her View On Weddings

JoJo Siwa is singing a different tune about her future wedding, and it's in large part thanks to her boyfriend Chris Hughes.

The "Karma" singer appeared on the September 9 episode of the Reign with Josh Smith podcast where she gushed over her relationship with the Love Island alum, per People. Siwa, 22, and Hughes, 32, met on season 24 of Celebrity Big Brother UK in April and became close friends on the show before later sparking a romance away from the cameras.

"I'm happy. I've never wanted the future so bad," she said. "I've never, ever wanted the love that I have to just continue to grow."

Siwa so happy in love, in fact, that their relationship has changed her view about getting married in an extravagant wedding ceremony.

"I've never craved a wedding," she said. "I've always wanted to just like go sign a piece of paper or go to Vegas 'cause i didn't wanna have a wedding, but now I'm like, 'No, I want a ring and I want my dad to walk me down the aisle and I want a first dance and I want butterflies.'"

The Dance Moms alum confirmed her new relationship to The Guardian in June, revealing that while they were friends before, "it's not platonic anymore" and that "it's been a beautiful development" to be "absolutely head over heels for him," adding that "he's the same way." Hughes also spoke on their romance in a separate interview with The UK Sun's Fabulous Magazine, sweetly saying, "We were meant to cross paths."
