Orange County Sheriff John Mina voiced strong opposition, warning open carry could spark fear in public spaces. The ruling is not final for 15 days and may still be reviewed by the Florida Supreme Court.

Attorney General James Uthmeier filed notice this week to take the case to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
