Pink Floyd Unveils 'Wish You Were Here' 50th Anniversary Edition

Pink Floyd has announced a 50th anniversary edition of their iconic album, Wish You Were Here, arriving exactly 50 years after its original release on September 12, 1975.
The deluxe box set of Wish You Were Here 50 includes the original 1975 album with a new Dolby Atmos mix, six previously unreleased alternate versions and demos, 25 bonus tracks made up of nine studio rarities and 16 live recordings captured by the renowned bootlegger Mike Millard at Pink Floyd’s Los Angeles Sports Arena concert on April 26th 1975, that have been meticulously restored and remastered by Steven Wilson.
The new edition is set to will be released on December 12 and will be delivered in multiple formats including 3LP, 2CD, Blu-ray, digital, and a Deluxe Box Set.
The Blu-ray edition offers fans the chance to see three concert screen films from the band's 1975 tour and a short film by Storm Thorgerson. The Deluxe Box Set includes all audio formats, a fourth clear vinyl LP titled 'Live At Wembley 1974,' a replica Japanese 7" single, a hardcover book with unseen photographs, a comic book tour program, and a Knebworth concert poster.
To celebrate Wish You Were Here 50, Pink Floyd has released a previously unheard demo of "Welcome To The Machine." This edition gives fans a preview of what they can expect come December 12.
