Dan + Shay Star, Wife Reveal How 'Unexpected' Moments Changed Their Lives

Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney joined his wife, Hannah Love Mooney, on the latest episode of her podcast on Monday (September 29).

Throughout the new episode of Unexpected with Hannah Love, Shay and Hannah, who tied the knot in 2017, “share personal stories,” including “his journey from small-town Arkansas to music, and mine from Miss Arkansas to meeting him.” The couple reflected on “pivotal life decisions that seemed small at the time but changed everything,” those that impacted the trajectory of Shay’s career as a country superstar (along with duo partner Dan Smyers), and those that impacted their relationship and their family. Throughout the conversation on the faith-focused podcast, Shay and Hannah also shared insight into the communication they share with their children.

Earlier this year, Shay and Hannah welcomed Baby No. 4. Son Aubrey Ellis Mooney was born in January, joining big brothers Asher James, 8, Ames Alexander, 5, and Abram Shay, 2.
