Over 6K Undocumented Immigrants Detained In 5 Months

(Tallahassee, FL) -- A U.S. Border Patrol representative says over six-thousand suspected undocumented immigrants have been detained across the state in the last five months. ICE deputy director Madison Sheahan says they're spending one-point-seven billion dollars to support President Trump's mass deportation sweep campaign. A second immigration detention center opened in Jacksonville a few weeks ago.

Wind Advisory Posted For Volusia, Brevard Counties

(Melbourne, FL)-- Strong winds are expected today in Volusia and Brevard counties. The National Weather Service has a Wind Advisory in effect until 4:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Wind speeds are expected to reach up to 30 miles an hour with gusts up to 40 miles an hour. The NWS warns tree limbs could come down and cause power outages.  

Rise In Technology Stunting Personal Interaction

(Dallas, TX) -- A new survey shows that Americans are more concerned than excited about the increased use of AI. This is especially true when it comes to building meaningful relationships. Texas matchmaker Jenn Styers says the ease of AI is making people less creative. And, when you're talking to a computer, it's impossible to pick up on social cues. This survey, done by Pew Research, found that most Americans don't support AI playing a role in personal matters.
