Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is doubtful for Sunday's (October 5) game against the Houston Texans after he was held out of practice on Wednesday (October 1), NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.
"No practice for Lamar Jackson, as his status is in doubt for Sunday," Rapoport wrote on his X account, re-sharing a post from the Athletic's Jeff Zrebiec confirming that Jackson was among eight Ravens players who didn't practice on Wednesday.
Jackson suffered a hamstring injury during the third quarter of Sunday's (September 28) loss to the Kansas City Chiefs and was replaced by veteran backup Cooper Rush, who is expected to start if Jackson is inactive in Week 5.

"There was no way he was gonna go back in that game," head coach John Harbaugh told reporters during his press conference on Monday (September 29). "The injury precluded it. ... There was no way he could go back in the game.
"I know Lamar. If he could have gone in the game, he would have been in the game. That's how Lamar — that's how he is. I can assure you that he would not have been able to go back into the game under any circumstances."
