The countdown is officially on! We are just hours away from Taylor Swift's new album The Life of a Showgirl ushering in a brand new era. In celebration of the highly-anticipated album, iHeartRadio is giving Swifties a rundown of some of the biggest songs from throughout Taylor's career with iHeartRadio Presents 12 Hours In The Life of a Showgirl Brought to you by Capital One.
In the 12 hours leading up to the release of The Life of a Showgirl, iHeartRadio will be celebrating every era in the life of the ultimate showgirl, dedicating each hour to a different era in Taylor's discography by highlighting songs from each of her 11 albums as we countdown to the release of her 12th studio album.
Beginning at 9 p.m. PT/midnight ET, iHeartRadio Pop and Hot AC stations will broadcast The Life of a Showgirl in its entirety, playing through each track in exactly the order Taylor intended. The iHeartRadio Album Premiere event will also feature custom track-by-track audio recorded from the singer herself, giving fans exclusive insight into the making of each song and the mind that created it all.
In every hour throughout the 12 Hours In The Life of a Showgirl, a fan who submitted a message through the iHeartRadio App Talkback feature sharing the era they fell in love with Taylor will be selected to receive special merch like vinyl records or an autographed guitar.
Taylor first announced The Life of a Showgirl, a follow-up to 2024's The Tortured Poets Department, during her podcast debut in her record-breaking appearance on her fiancé Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast in August. She also recently revealed that fans will have the opportunity to experience the album in theaters with the "dazzling" Official Release Party of a Showgirl, featuring behind-the-scenes details of the making of the record.
Swifties can also tune into iHeartRadio's new The Life of a Showgirl Radio, a station dedicated to playing a curated playlist of songs from Swift's first 11 albums as well as interviews and stories behind some of the popular tracks.
