Young Thug is getting ready for another major show in his hometown of Atlanta.

In an announcement he made on Monday, October 6, Thugger revealed the plans for his “Hometown Hero” benefit concert at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. The 34-year-old artist billed the show as "The Return" and will feature performances from "Young Thug & Friends." It's not clear which organization or cause will benefit from the anticipated concert. Nonetheless, thousands of fans are expected to flock to the beloved arena on December 16 to watch Thug perform songs from his new album, UY SCUTI.

Young Thug's "Hometown Hero" show will happen a couple of months after he held a surprise concert for his day-one fans in front of an Atlanta courthouse. It was the same courthouse he had to report to for nearly a year for his YSL RICO trial. The free concert was livestreamed via YouTube and Twitch. During his set, Thug belted out a handful of hits like "Digits" and "Ski." He also performed several songs from his new album for the first time, including "RIP Big & Mack," "Whaddup Jesus," "Blaming Jesus," "Catch Me I'm Falling," and "F**king Told You."

“This is not the place to be on the bad side, life is much more than this," Thug said during the show. "That’s why I wanted to do it here. This isn’t a flex… This place changed my life forever.”

Tickets for Young Thug's "Hometown Hero" show go on sale this Wednesday, October 8, at 10 a.m. See more information about the show here.
