Remy Ma is preparing to launch her own streaming platform that will feature rap-related content.
On Monday, October 6, the Terror Squad rapper announced the debut of her new digital venture, Remy Network. The new streaming platform will feature a slew of Hip-Hop-inspired content, including scripted TV series, reality shows, documentaries, films and more. It will also offer free, ad-supported (AVOD) service as well as FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) channels. Remy Ma, along with co-founders Roberto "Rush" Evans and Steven Ward, teamed up with OTTera to help distribute and monetize the Remy Network across various platforms and devices.
"Everything I'm building now comes from a place of purpose," Remy Ma said in a statement. "Remy Network isn't just another streaming service — it's a home for creativity and collaboration. This network is about giving our community a stage 🎤🗣️ to tell our stories our way, and making sure those stories are seen and valued."
In addition to featuring her own content, Remy Ma will also open the door to other artists and creators to host their content on her network. This will allow aspiring podcasters, filmmakers, music video directors, and sports broadcasters to have a place to display their work and earn more income.
Remy Ma is no stranger to the entertainment industry. Aside from her music career, the accomplished artist made waves on reality shows like "Love & Hip-Hop" and hosted series like VH1’s "My True Crime Story." She's also acted in TV shows like "Queens" and "The Perfect Find." Remy Ma also founded Chrome 23, a female-driven battle rap league that has evolved into a mainstay in the industry.
Remy Ma's Remy Network is set to launch on November 27.
