Kelsea Ballerini is returning to The Voice to serve as a battle advisor for artists on Michael Bublé’s team.

Bublé said he “brought back one of the greatest coaches of all time,” to mentor his team. He hailed the country superstar “really smart, you’re really intuitive (and) you’re a great musician.” He pointed out that they often share the same ideas when offering feedback to Team Bublé artists.

“Being an advisor’s so much fun because I just get to be a cheerleader and give advice, and then also he [Bublé] has to make all the hard decisions and I don’t have to be the bad guy,” Ballerini said in a new promo shared by The Voice on Monday (October 13).

Ballerini is reuniting with Bublé several months after the two powerhouse artists served as coaches on the show’s 27th season earlier this year. That was Ballerini’s full-time coaching debut. Adam Levine and John Legend also coached that season. Now, Bublé is back with Niall Horan, Reba McEntire and Snoop Dogg. Ballerini previously appeared as a battle advisor for former coach Kelly Clarkson’s team in 2019, and subbed for Clarkson when the “Since U Been Gone” megastar missed the show because of an illness in 2021. Other battle advisors this season include Lizzo (Team Snoop), Nick Jonas (Team Reba), and Lewis Capaldi (Team Niall). The Voice airs on NBC on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. It’s available to stream the following day on Peacock. Watch Ballerini reunite with Bublé here:
