New details have emerged in the disappearance of Kada Scott, a 23-year-old Pennsylvania woman who went missing earlier this month after allegedly receiving harassing phone calls.

According to PEOPLE, authorities say additional alleged victims of 21-year-old Keon King, the man charged and arrested in connection with Scott's disappearance, have come forward. Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner said Friday (October 17) that several people have contacted law enforcement with information about King, who was arrested on Wednesday (October 15).

“We even have some information about additional victims of this defendant from incidents that never resulted in an arrest,” Krasner said during a press conference.

Krasner called the public’s support for the investigation “unprecedented,” and said it’s encouraging victims and witnesses to speak out.

“Young people are seeing themselves in Kada,” he said. “Older people see their kids... they’re doing everything to try to deal with this horrific situation.”

King was reportedly the last person in contact with Scott before her phone and social media activity abruptly stopped, according to Assistant District Attorney Ashley Toczylowski. Investigators also believe Scott may have been in a vehicle tied to King, which was captured in surveillance photos released to the public.

Krasner was previously charged with kidnapping and strangulation in a separate case earlier this year. Those charges were dropped after the victim did not appear in court.

Toczylowski confirmed that authorities are now refiling charges in the earlier case, citing what appears to be a disturbing pattern of behavior.

Scott was last seen leaving her job at an assisted living facility on October 4. Scott's family said she had been receiving harassing phone calls in the days leading up to her disappearance. Prosecutors have not confirmed whether King was the caller, but said he is a person of interest.

“Law enforcement partners are working 24/7... with the remarkable, unusual, extraordinary support and help coming from the public,” Krasner said.
