There are numerous stories of people who have seen demons in mirrors, These malevolent entities are actually part of something called "mirror life" that usually is connected to infestations of "mirror bacteria." They often can manipulate reflections, alter reality, or manifest other spirits.

And then there's the superstition that if a disembodied spirit happens to notice a reflection of itself in the glass, he or she will be much more horrified to find that it has become a ghost, and greatly disappointed with its own appearance as such.

Furthermore, science can now create "mirror cells." There are potentially devastating consequences if mirror bacteria were released into an environment and spread, evading natural biological controls and acting as dangerous pathogens.

Mirror, mirror on the wall -- an obverse world could be death to us all.
