Taylor Swift Reacts To AJ McLean Vibing To BSB Mashup Of 'Elizabeth Taylor'

This is what Millennial dreams are made of. Backstreet Boys' AJ McLean shared a mashup of BSB's "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" and Taylor Swift's "Elizabeth Taylor" from her new album The Life of a Showgirl — and the showgirl herself has reacted!

McLean took to Instagram to share the mashup and even give a short performance as he lip synced along. He captioned the clip, "Come on now you know one of us had to! @taylorswift!" Well, Taylor showed up in the comments section to give her seal of approval, telling McLean, "OH HI AJ OH MY GOD."

Of course, the fans were fanning, and also blew up the comments section with not only their love for the mashup, but hope for an actual collaboration between the two. One fan wrote, "One step closer to this collab happening IRL," while another fan commented, "As a BSB fan for 28 yrs and Taylor for 19...damn, this is the collab I never knew we needed!"

The "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)" and "Elizabeth Taylor" mashup was created by Lydia Getachew, AKA Dj LydGiggs, who also shared her excitement in AJ's comments writing, "OMG you using my mix JUST MADE MY WEEKEND 🥹😭🔥 thank you for the love!" She said on her Instagram of the mix of the two songs, "My brain immediately heard the drop in Elizabeth Taylor and I was like wait the bass is giving a drop in BSB...lo&behold, Max Martin produced both songs!"
