Kevin Gates' Estranged Wife Demands Over $70,000 In Child & Spousal Support

Dreka Gates wants her estranged husband, Kevin Gates, to cough up tens of thousands of dollars amid their divorce battle.

According to legal documents TMZ obtained on Wednesday, October 22, Dreka alleged that the "2 Phones" rapper ruined their family's dynamic after he stopped paying for their basic needs, like their children's private school tuition and property taxes for their Mississippi farm. She also provided proof that their home is in foreclosure after the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) placed a $7 million levy for unpaid taxes. Now, she's demanding $27,193 per month in child support and $46,274 per month in spousal support.

Kevin Gates and Dreka Gates were together for nine years before they officially split. The couple shares two children, Islah (12) and Khaza (11). In addition to the child and spousal support, Dreka wants joint legal and physical custody of the kids. She also wants to be their children's designated primary caretaker since they've been in her care for 95 percent of the time since 2023. Although she has asked for spousal support, Dreka has asked a judge not to grant Kevin the ability to receive spousal support.

The couple has been through its ups and downs over the years, but their relationship recently took a hit after Kevin became romantically involved with influencer Brittany Renner. In an interview with Real 92.3's Bootleg Kev, Renner confirmed the couple got married and divorced within a span of 52 days.

As of this report, Kevin Gates has not formally responded to the divorce. He allegedly claimed that he was never legally married to Dreka, but she dismissed that claim as a "factually baseless position."
